Arcadian Moon Vineyards and Winery is a complete experience and life style company centered on the sustainable, holistic production and enjoyment of wine. With 75 acres of land and four lakes, the development site provides ample opportunity to deliver a setting in which wine consumers can immerse themselves.
To determine the full range of spatial implications to meet the vision, business needs, functional requirements and experiential and spatial quality requirements involved, thorough analysis and research through a process of examination and primary and alternative solution development and 3D diagrammatic graphics was followed to ensure full understanding of all qualitative and quantitative aspects of the site. The analysis and research culminated in a Master Plan, which detailed the opportunities, timeline and cost for the development of the 75 acres on which Arcadian Moon resides as well as taking into account future intentions. The Master Plan considered all aspects of the Vineyards and Winery’s long terms needs and provided a phasing plan to accommodate those needs with respect to the evolution of the current business plan and model.
This Master Plan promotes full sustainability implementation on several levels. With a broad view of competition and target markets, the Master Plan sets Arcadian Moon Vineyards and Winery on a course to become one of the first vineyards and wineries in the country to implement comprehensive constructed environment and operational sustainability standards. The sustainability initiatives will also provide upfront direct financial benefits through tax, loan, grant and rebate incentives as well as long term financial benefits through reduced operational costs. Encompassed within these sustainability standards, the site and business operations offer multiple renewable energy opportunities such as Solar Energy, Wind Energy and Biomass Cogeneration Energy.
